API Consultant

Responsible for consulting with clients and advising them how to integrate Equifax API products and services to solve their business problems, as well as identifying and implementing improvements to the clients existing business processes

What you will do

• Leads and directs tasks, resources, and overall project plans for API implementations with clients of varying sizes and verticals.
   

• Responsible for leading the planning, design, development, testing, configuration assistance, training, pre-production problem resolution and technical integration support to new and existing external clients.
   

• Leads delivery aspects of external client management, in conjunction with the sales team and internal management – conducts regular communications and maintains individual working relationships with customer personnel at both the leadership and working levels.
   

• Serves as the primary driver of the client relationship and project implementation communications.

What experience you need 

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

• 3+ years of experience in IT customer support as a QA, Software Developer, Business Analyst or similar skillset

• Agile Experience. Familiar with agile methodologies and ability to dovetail into team working in a 2 week sprint cadence.

• Teamwork. Be able to work with a remote team alongside product managers, marketing, and developers.

• Communication. Effectively communicate via email and directly with both internal and external customers.

• You will be required to support clients with technical issues or verifying their technical integration

• Attention-to-Detail. Ability to review customer problems, against original designs and identify and document

• discrepancies.

• Multi-tasking. Ability to manage multiple work-streams and simultaneous projects in support of a growing

• API portfolio.

• Efficiency-minded.

• You have experience in JSON, XML or REST

• You have experience in internal technology integration support

• Experience with API clients like Postman
