Role Overview
The HR Generalist will oversee a broad range of HR functions, with a strong focus on recruitment and talent acquisition. The role will support day-to-day HR operations while partnering with employees and management on people-related matters. Experience in logistics, maritime, or related industries is highly preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of general HR experience, covering various HR facets such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and HR administration.
- Strong experience and expertise in recruitment and talent acquisition, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and end-to-end recruitment processes.
- Preferably with at least 1 year of people management or leadership experience.
- Experience in the logistics, maritime, transportation, shipping, or related industries is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently while effectively collaborating with employees, managers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support day-to-day HR operations across various HR functions, ensuring timely and effective delivery of HR services.
- Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition, from sourcing and screening to interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and develop appropriate recruitment strategies.
- Handle employee relations concerns and provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and workplace matters.
- Support performance management processes, including performance reviews, employee development, and related HR initiatives.
- Assist in the implementation and administration of compensation and benefits programs and other employee-related processes.
- Coordinate and support training and development initiatives based on organizational and employee needs.
- Maintain accurate and updated employee records, HR documentation, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws and regulations.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies, programs, and initiatives that contribute to employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
- Provide guidance and support to the HR team and other stakeholders, as needed.
