Our Swindon facility houses our Zydis® fast dissolving tablet development and manufacturing operation as well as a CMC pharmaceutical analytical lab services unit that offers ASAP stability.

Position Summary

We have an opportunity for a Senior technologist to join our team and lead critical product transfers and process development activities. In this role, you will ensure successful product introduction, optimize manufacturing processes, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. You will provide technical expertise, manage priorities, and support operational excellence. This is a chance to make a real impact in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Shift: Monday - Friday 37.5 per week.
Location: Swindon, UK
100% Onsite

The Role

• Lead product transfers, process development, and validation activities to ensure successful product introduction.
• Develop process specifications, optimize manufacturing processes, and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide technical expertise to resolve process issues and improve operational performance.
• Ensure equipment, processes, and documentation meet Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), regulatory, and quality standards.
• Manage project priorities and resources to achieve business objectives and timelines.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
• Train and support manufacturing teams on new processes and ensure training compliance.
• Act as a key client contact, providing technical updates, reports, and stakeholder communication.

The Candidate

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing, product development, or life sciences.
• Knowledge of oral solid dosage (OSD) formulation and manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of process scale-up, technology transfer, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environments.

Preferred Skills & Background

• Experience with Design of Experiments (DoE) and statistical analysis is desirable.
• Experience in leading projects.
