About the role:

Team Leader, One-Ninety Restaurant

Lead and Elevate Every Experience

At One-Ninety, every meal is an opportunity to create a meaningful connection.

As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in bringing the One-Ninety dining experience to life, leading from the floor while inspiring the team to deliver service that is warm, intuitive and effortless. You will be the link between our guests, our service team and the wider operation — ensuring every detail is executed with quality, professionalism and warm hospitality.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Captain ready to take the next step into a supervisory role or a current F&B Team Leader/Supervisor. You will build on your strong foundation in F&B while developing your skills in supervision, enhancing guest engagement, and leading daily restaurant operations.

If you enjoy being in the heart of the operation, take pride in training others, and are ready to make a greater impact on both the guest and employee experience, we invite you to grow with us.

What you will do:

  • Lead from the floor, ensuring every guest receives attentive, personalised and professional service throughout their dining journey.

  • Inspire and guide the service team to consistently uphold standards of quality, warmth and professionalism.

  • Anticipate guest needs and encourage the team to create thoughtful moments that go beyond expectations.

  • Train team members through daily guidance, feedback, briefings and on-the-floor training.

  • Lead by example in service standards, grooming, product knowledge, communication and professionalism.

  • Ensure smooth opening and closing of the restaurant, including table settings, side duties and operational readiness.

  • Confidently present menus, daily specials, beverages and alternative cuisine, ensuring the team is equipped to answer guest questions.

  • Apply strong knowledge of food, wine and beverage service to enhance the overall dining experience.

  • Oversee the flow of service, coordinating closely with the culinary and service team to ensure seamless execution.

  • Monitor guest satisfaction, respond confidently to concerns and take ownership of service recovery, escalating matters to the Manager when appropriate.

  • Support special occasions and functions, ensuring every detail is delivered to standard.

  • Manage operational responsibilities including billing, cash handling, POS transactions and other assigned administrative duties.

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, hygiene and safety throughout the restaurant.

  • Identify opportunities to improve service, enhance the guest experience and support the overall performance of the restaurant.

  • Foster a positive, collaborative team environment where colleagues feel supported, valued and motivated to do their best work.

What you bring:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Captain or equivalent service role, preferably within an all-day dining restaurant in a luxury hotel or brand.

  • Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or a related discipline.

  • Strong foundation in restaurant operations, food and beverage service and guest engagement.

  • Train, inspire confidence and bring out the best in others.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage guests and colleagues at all levels.

  • Excellent attentiveness and patience, with a genuine passion for creating personalised guest experiences.

  • Ability to remain composed, organised and solutions-focused in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

  • Strong product knowledge, with an interest in developing further expertise in food, wine and beverages.

  • Proactive mindset to take ownership, make decisions and step forward when challenges arise.

  • Collaborative team player who enjoys working across different functions to achieve a common goal.

  • A growth mindset and ambition to build a long-term career in luxury hospitality.

With a culture built on mutual respect, a growing world of opportunities and an environment that supports the personal drive for excellence, a Four Seasons career can be exceptionally rewarding.
