Parts Specialist

Compensation: $24–$28/hour, based on experience

Location: Little Canada, MN

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM | No evenings or weekends

Tri-State Bobcat is looking for a Parts Specialist to join our Little Canada team. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you'll work with customers, service technicians, and a wide range of equipment and parts-including Bobcat, Toro, STIHL, and other leading brands.

You'll play a key role in keeping our service department moving-getting the right parts to the right people at the right time while providing a great experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Help walk-in, phone, and text customers identify and purchase the right parts, accessories, and supplies
• Provide parts pricing, availability, and basic product information
• Work closely with service technicians to identify, source, order, and allocate parts efficiently so repairs stay on schedule
• Look up parts across multiple equipment lines, manufacturers, and vendor systems
• Manage parts inventory by receiving, verifying, organizing, stocking, and accurately allocating parts to inventory bins, customers, and service jobs
• Monitor inventory levels and help identify parts that need to be reordered
• Assist customers with Toro and STIHL equipment by helping with product selection, features, accessories, and basic operation.
• Identify opportunities to recommend related parts, accessories, and products based on customer needs

What Makes You a Great Fit

We're looking for someone who is curious, organized, mechanically minded, and comfortable working with people.

You don't necessarily need previous parts-department experience. Experience in equipment, automotive, powersports, small engine, agriculture, construction, or a related industry is valuable.

• Mechanical aptitude with an interest in learning equipment, parts, and how things work
• Experience in parts, equipment, automotive, small engine, powersports, agriculture, construction, or a related industry preferred
• Ability to research and identify parts using computer systems, catalogs, and manufacturer/vendor websites
• Strong attention to detail-getting the right part matters
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable and able to follow through on customer and technician requests from start to finish
