Brighton Solutions is partnering with a well-established organization to identify an Administrative Coordinator to support a short-term records review and data reconciliation project.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with spreadsheets and business records. The position is primarily administrative and will focus on comparing information from multiple sources, identifying discrepancies, researching straightforward issues, and helping ensure records are accurate and complete.
Position Overview
The Administrative Coordinator will work closely with the Field Services team to review client production information against internal records. This person will help identify missing or inconsistent information, research discrepancies, update records when appropriate, and maintain an organized tracking system for items requiring additional review.
Key Responsibilities
- Compare client production reports with internal records to identify missing or inconsistent information.
- Review dates, addresses, project information, inspection records, and other data for accuracy.
- Identify and document discrepancies between client-provided and internal information.
- Conduct initial research to determine the likely cause of discrepancies.
- Update records when corrections are straightforward and do not require technical judgment.
- Flag more complex items for review by appropriate team members.
- Maintain an Excel-based reconciliation tracker documenting issues, required actions, and current status.
- Assist with cleanup and organization of historical records.
- Communicate with team members regarding outstanding questions and follow-up items.
Qualifications
- At least one year of office, administrative, data entry, or records-related experience preferred.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams or Slack.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to compare information across multiple records and identify inconsistencies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a small team.
This is a temporary 3–6 month opportunity that would be well suited for someone with administrative or office experience who enjoys detailed, accuracy-focused work and is comfortable working with data and spreadsheets.
