Job Description:
SUMMARY: Responsible for performing all general maintenance and repair functions on facility vehicles as well as other maintenance and repairs as required within approved guidelines and as directed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Interacts effectively with Team Members. Performs excellent customer service at all time. Inspects and maintains service logs for all Facility vehicles. Sets up contracts and administering contracts with vehicle specialty service shops. Performs light repairs as well as maintenance service on facility vehicles. Performs light repairs as well as maintenance and repair of minor problems throughout the Casino complex as directed by immediate supervisor. Ensures adherence to all OSHA regulations and internal safety policies and procedures. Operates company vehicles as required. Conducts preventative maintenance on all equipment as assigned. Supports other Maintenance Engineers and the Facility department as needed. Performs any reasonable request made by management. Maintains a consistent, regular attendance record. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma GED required and at least five years of work experience preferred. Minimum of five years experience in Auto Mechanics, Building maintenance or the Constructions industry and must be able to read blueprints. SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required, must have strong skills in Auto Mechanics, Electrical, HVAC and Building Maintenance work, Kitchen equipment and Building improvements is a plus, will be required to use Microsoft Outlook 2000 and other Windows based programs. Must be able to work in high or confined spaces. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure and technical manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock and radiation, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals. The Team Member occasionally works in high places or confined spaces, and in outside weather conditions with exposure to humid, hot and cold temperatures. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor or mechanical rooms, the noise level increases to loud. The Team Member may be exposed to a smoke-filled environment when on the casino floor.
