Description
CAREGIVER NEEDED – WEST BLOOMFIELD, MI
CareOne Senior Care is currently looking for a dependable caregiver to provide care for a high-level client in West Bloomfield.
This is a great opportunity for a caregiver who is comfortable providing hands-on assistance and is looking for consistent work with the potential for additional hours.
POSITION DETAILS
- Location: West Bloomfield, MI
- Pay: $18–$20 per hour
- Available shifts: 8:00 PM–8:00 AM, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, and 10:00 AM–8:00 PM
- Additional shifts may become available
- High-level personal care and mobility assistance
- Experience with Hoyer lifts and wheelchair transfers preferred
- PEG tube experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required because the caregiver may drive the client's transportation van
- Dependability and consistency are very important for this assignment
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with personal care and daily routines
- Provide safe mobility and transfer assistance
- Assist with Hoyer lift and wheelchair transfers
- Provide medication reminders
- Prepare meals
- Complete light housekeeping
- Provide companionship
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Assist with transportation as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable and responsible
- Comfortable providing hands-on caregiving assistance
- Able to perform the essential physical duties of the position
- Strong communication skills
- Must pass a background check
- Current TB test or willingness to complete one
- Hoyer lift, wheelchair transfer, and PEG tube experience preferred
