Full-time Cook

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full Time Cook to work at Lakeside located at 17475 Frances Street, Omaha, NE 68130.  Lakeside has been voted “Best of Omaha” in the senior living category for 15 years.  It has 89 independent, 49 assisted living and 12 memory support apartment homes along with 18 lofts. This is not an entry level position. A minimum of one year of cooking experience in an environment above fast food/fast casual is needed in order for consideration.

This position will pay up to $19.86/hour.  Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Job Duties & Skills Required

What You Will Do

The responsibilities of this job include all types of food preparation, including but not limited to baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking; and cleaning the kitchen. Additionally, assists in any duty as needed in all kitchen areas (independent living, assisted living, and long-term care).

 

Skills & Requirements

High School Diploma/GED is required.

One (1) year of cooking experience beyond the level of fast food/fast casual is required.

Minimum age of 18 years old is required.
