As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and/or materials; monitoring access points; and reporting security-related concerns. You will maintain a professional presence, provide exceptional customer service and communication, and work collaboratively with Allied Universal teammates while demonstrating agility, reliability, innovation, care, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or personal belongings in accordance with site requirements; identify and report prohibited items or irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Control access to designated areas by verifying credentials, following visitor procedures, and maintaining accurate screening-related records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, facility entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
