Essential duties and Responsibilities:
• Manages warehousing activities, such as receiving, order fulfillment, and shipping.
• Ensures compliance with space availability, production output, order requirements, and business plans.
• Responsible for negotiations, vendor relationships, and procurement for production and sales orders.
• Oversees and participates in negotiations with transportation companies, such as shipping lines, trucking lines, freight forwarders, and 3PL’s.
• Oversees and participates the design, development, and implementation of all materials systems.
• Works with other departments to plan present and future operational changes.
• Provides recommendations to resolve engineering, production, and technical problems.
• Participates in the research, development, and design of long-range strategic objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• 4-year college degree in related discipline with additional advanced courses
• Experience in selecting & managing 3PL partners
• 5 to 10 years of related experience.
