Position Overview
The Mold Maker performs supervision activities of mold maintenance technicians, acting as the link between maintenance personnel and plant staff by assigning priorities and resources. The role coordinates and executes mold repairs and preventive maintenance, develops mold-related checklists, ensures required materials are available, and maintains mold maintenance records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for meeting production requirements and product quality.
- Responsible for complying with plant and government safety requirements.
- Immediately report any health condition that could compromise the quality and safety of the product and / or that could affect the environmental working conditions.
- He is responsible for complying with the safety, hygiene and clothing requirements while working within the production rooms including the Mold Workshop area.
- Require the necessary training to develop better in their activities.
- Report any safety or quality problems immediately to your immediate manager.
- Comply with the plant's policies and regulations of conduct.
- Follow the work instructions and procedures and ensure that you have been properly trained before carrying out the required work.
- Verify the proper functioning of the machines and measuring equipment that you use in your activities It is responsible for maintaining records related to the Molds.
- Make sure your work area is clean and orderly, complying with the 5's culture.
- Fulfill and carry out other responsibilities that your Immediate Manager or the Directorate indicates.
- Submit ideas for continuous improvement to the product, process and / or system as well as ideas for cost reduction and improvement of the safety of the work area.
- Request changes for those documents that they believe are incorrect.
- Provide training to other employees in activities that they master and in which they were previously trained.
- Have access to any employee at the Management level, such as the Associate Director of Operations, or the plant manager if you have any matter to discuss.
- Request information about the behavior of the quality management system, the behavior of the product in the market, and customer complaints.
- To follow, develop and act according to the Quality assurance system based on ISO 13485 and FDA CGMP regulations.
- Comply with the company's quality policy.
Skills & Experience:
- 2 - 3 years of experience repairing of molds, machines, cutting tools, EDM and measuring equipment.
- Have good communication with other co-workers and their superiors.
- Availability for shift rotation.
- Have a good record of punctuality, attendance and discipline in their file.
- work under pressure.
- Good communication with the management group, supervisors and technicians.
- Technical English
Qualifications/Education:
- Professional Degree.
