We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Pallet Team Leader to join our team in Otahuhu!

About the role - Mō te tūranga

In this hands-on leadership role, you'll be responsible for leading a high-performing team, supporting consistent processes across the network and using data-driven insights to identify risks, trends and opportunities for improvement. Working across multiple areas of the business, you'll influence outcomes, drive accountability and ensure pallet operations run efficiently and effectively.

Additional key duties below:

  • Leading, coaching and developing a team of Pallet Coordinators
  • Driving operational performance and prioritising team workloads
  • Monitoring reporting, trends and business performance
  • Building strong relationships across operations, sales, finance and customers
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, compliance and reporting
  • Supporting cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement activities
  • Managing escalations and resolving complex operational issues

You're a confident leader who enjoys empowering others, building relationships and driving results. You bring a strong operational mindset, commercial awareness and the ability to balance the detail with the bigger picture.

Additionally, you will need:

  • Experience with pallet management, CHEP, Loscam or related asset control systems
  • Experience leading or coaching teams in a transport, logistics, supply chain or operational environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and drive accountability across a business
  • Experience working with operational reporting and performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A continuous improvement mindset and passion for delivering results
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting capability
