This is a highly collaborative role that combines technical leadership, solution design, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement to accelerate the adoption of digital twin technology across Hitachi Energy's HVDC portfolio.
How you’ll make an impact
- Define, maintain, and continuously improve the standard technical design for IdentiQ deployments across HVDC projects.
- Develop reusable solution patterns, templates, and implementation methodologies to minimize project specific engineering and accelerate delivery.
- Collaborate with Digital Twin Coordinators and project teams to translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Work closely with Product Owners to ensure future product capabilities align with project implementation needs and technical standards.
- Provide technical leadership and solution governance throughout project execution, supporting deployment, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Define and maintain cybersecurity requirements, secure design principles, and implementation standards for IdentiQ deployments to ensure compliance with customer, industry, and Hitachi Energy cyber security requirements.
Your background
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience delivering complex technical solutions, industrial software platforms, digitalization initiatives, or engineering systems in a multi stakeholder environment.
- Strong understanding of system integration, data flows, software architectures, and information management within industrial or energy domains.
- Proven ability to translate business and project requirements into practical, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience collaborating across engineering, software, project, and customer organizations.
- Preferred: Knowledge of HVDC systems, digital twin technologies, asset management solutions, industrial IoT, cloud platforms, SaaS applications, cyber security principles, or operational technology environments.
