We are seeking a licenced Psychometrician for a Locum Wellbeing Coach contract position. In this role, you will operate as an independent contractor closely affiliated with our team, providing critical support during periods of leave and ensuring key functions remain uninterrupted. While you will maintain the flexibility typical of locum roles, a commitment to regular availability and onsite engagement is essential in the case of this position.
The role of a Locum Wellbeing Coach supports employee wellbeing by delivering on-demand and structured counseling sessions, group interventions, and wellness checks for a diverse workforce in the Trust and Safety industry. The role involves facilitating individual and group sessions, managing crisis interventions, and designing mental health and resilience-building activities.
Please note flexibility will be required to work public holidays and potentially for varied shift patterns, to meet the needs of the role and support team coverage. The role is fully onsite with no facility to work remotely at present.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling and facilitating on-demand, short-term individual counseling sessions with a diverse corporate workforce in the Trust and Safety industry
- Scheduling and facilitating quarterly, structured wellness check sessions with all employees to assess overall state of wellbeing and needs
- Designing and delivering group activities and training focused on enhancing mental health literacy, increasing resilience and the development of healthy coping and distress management skills
- Facilitating group counseling sessions
- Triaging urgent clinical requests through a crisis management solution, assessing needs and scheduling on-demand crisis intervention sessions
- Accurately completing administrative duties including tracking session data, completing case notes, and scheduling of sessions in a timely manner
- Surfacing clinical emerging themes and patterns that arise within counseling and group sessions to your Clinical Lead
- Attending and participating in individual clinical supervision with your Clinical Lead to enhance your working practices
- Maintaining minimum CPD requirements as per the company policy and/or regulatory body requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum bachelors' degree in psychology.
- Licensed Psychometrician in good standing with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
- 2 years supervised experience delivering clinical services in the Philippines which involved direct client contact (e.g., client intakes, one to one sessions).
- Fluent in written and spoken Filipino and English is mandatory.
- Strong presentation and group facilitation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and video conferencing tools.
- Excellent data management and administrative skills, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of client information and session records
- Demonstrated ability to engage clients and build strong, trust-based relationships
- Experience in cross-cultural counselling, with sensitivity and competence in working with diverse backgrounds
- Proven professionalism and adherence to ethical standards, including effective communication and confidentiality in corporate settings
- Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to excel in fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving environments
- Committed to continuous learning and professional development, with a focus on staying current with industry trends
