Accounting Analyst (IFRS & US GAAP)

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Accounting Analyst (IFRS & US GAAP).

## What you’ll do:

Perform and support the monthly closing process, prepare Balance sheet Reconciliations BSR (AP,accruals, taxes, etc),various journal entries , accruals, Cash aplication, Bank transactions recording and reconciliation,creation of accounts payables for some services, etc.

Job Responsibilities

1\. General accounting procedures and perform the monthly closing process for Sites.

2\. Review and validate the cash application for the invoices collected during the month.

3\. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations every month for different balance accounts.

4\. Prepare on a monthly basis the income and expenses reconciliation.

5\. Register and analysis for Hedges on a monthly basis.

6\. Ensure the accuracy for taxes recorded, mainly VAT.

7\. Generate on a monthly basis the complement of payment for all invoices collected to comply with tax requirements.

8\. Review Treasury, ICA & ZBA. Ensure correct recording and Reconciliation .

9\. Prepare the accruals for beneffits such as EPS, Estate Tax and Insurances.

10\. Support and/or lead department activities related to process improvements and standard work.

11\. Maintain an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement to achieve departmental and GFSS goals. Support site, functional or corporate initiatives.

12\. Collaborate with the Internal Control Audit and Statutory Audits for the sites and activities under the scope.

13\. Other activities assigned by supervisor or special requirements from management or company.

14\. Maintain safe, clean working environment in compliance with all Eaton safety standards, Life Saving Rules, and daily 5S+ requirements to help build a Zero Incident Culture.

## Qualifications:

Education Level Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related is required.

Years and Area of Experience Required

• 2 to 3 years of experience in general accounting.

Technical Knowledge

• Knowledge of Mexican statutory reporting requirements is essential, with a sound understanding of tax regulations.
• Experience with the monthly closing process.
• Experience with reconciliations, including IVA and CFDI.
• Exposure to US GAAP and MEX GAAP reporting requirements.
• SAP or Oracle knowledge is a plus.
• Conversational English proficiency.
