Why this is an exciting opportunity
The IT Service Delivery team provides timely and expert technical services to support the products and services of the HUB24 Group and external clients. These include managed services and hosting, infrastructure support, application support, and end user support.
The primary objective of the Desktop Support Analyst is to deliver reliable, customer-focused workplace technology support for HUB24’s Queensland offices, ensuring incidents, service requests and end-user technology needs are resolved efficiently and in line with agreed service levels. The role acts as the local on-site technology contact for Queensland office locations, supporting desktop, device, access and collaboration services while partnering with centralised technology teams to maintain consistent, secure and compliant service delivery.
This role operates on a hybrid working arrangement, with four days per week on-site and one day working from home. The primary location is our Gold Coast office. As a key member of the support team, you will also be required to travel between our Queensland offices in Brisbane and the Gold Coast on a rotating basis to provide onsite support.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver high-quality end-to-end support for incidents, service requests and workplace technology issues across interstate offices, ensuring timely resolution, clear communication and adherence to service levels.
- Act as the primary on-site technology contact, providing hands-on desktop support, troubleshooting hardware, software, workplace technology and access-related issues, and coordinating local technology needs.
- Manage and resolve tickets through the ITSM platform, ensuring accurate categorisation, documentation, prioritisation and ownership through to resolution, with escalation to specialist teams as required.
- Support onboarding, offboarding and access management activities, including device provisioning, system access and lifecycle management of workplace technology assets.
- Collaborate with Service Desk, Desktop Support and Service Operations teams to deliver a consistent, high-quality user experience across all locations.
- Create and maintain knowledge articles, documentation and operating procedures, while identifying opportunities to improve support processes, technology services and user experience.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, security and asset management standards, and contribute to service reporting, metrics and the identification of recurring issues and risks.
