Contractor Fee: $2,000–$2,500/month (USD)
Work Arrangement: Remote

About This Role:
We are hiring a Finance & Accounting Manager for a growing eCommerce business to manage month-end close, financial reporting, inventory and COGS, cash flow, reconciliations, and sales tax coordination. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced with QuickBooks Online, inventory-based businesses, and US accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage AP/AR, vendor payments, outstanding balances, payment schedules, and related reconciliations.
Own or support the monthly close and prepare accurate P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and management reports.
Reconcile financial and inventory data across QuickBooks Online, banking, eCommerce, payment, warehouse, and 3PL systems.
Track inventory valuation, landed costs, COGS, gross margins, shipping costs, refunds, and damages, and analyze profitability across products and sales channels.
Maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast, track financial and operational KPIs, and support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Track US sales tax obligations and deadlines and coordinate filings and payments with the company’s CPA and tax provider. This role does not independently file sales tax returns.
Maintain accurate financial records, support external accountants and tax advisors, and ensure recurring financial and tax deadlines are met.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reconciliations, reporting, and financial controls.

Qualifications:
4–6+ years of experience in accounting, finance, financial analysis, or a related role.
Strong knowledge of accrual accounting, US GAAP, financial statements, AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end close.
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, inventory accounting, COGS, inventory valuation, and landed costs.
Experience with US sales tax processes, including tracking obligations and coordinating filings and payments with external providers.
Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, profitability analysis, and variance analysis.
Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills with strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
Able to independently manage recurring financial processes and deadlines in a fast-paced remote environment, with strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Experience with eCommerce, DTC, retail, consumer products, or another inventory-based business is strongly preferred.
Shift Schedule:
Monday to Friday, aligned with the client’s GMT+3 business hours, approximately 2:00 PM–11:00 PM Philippine Time.
Exact working hours will be agreed upon directly between the contractor and client.
