Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech?  Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a Maintenance Supervisor. 

Job Location: 

Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology.   There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus, NE.  We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area. 

What you will be doing: 

• Supervise Technicians in Production Equipment repair and maintenance. 

• Oversees troubleshooting and repair of production and Engineering equipment. 

• Maintain Spare Parts Inventory. 

• Tracks equipment utilization and controls PM schedule accordingly. 

• Interface with and assist Facility Maintenance Group as needed. 

• Maintain documentation logs and oversee required sign-off and logs completed. 

• Directs the training of Technicians. 

What you will bring along: 

• 5 Years of supervisory experience 

• Troubleshooting of Electronic Controls, PLC Logic, Pneumatics, Hydraulic, and Mechanical devices, and RF induction 

• Bachelor’s degree 

• Ability to read and follow work instructions 

• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and automated manufacturing or robotics equipment 

• Inspect parts and complete assemblies to ensure they meet strict specifications, measurements, and tolerance limits. 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels within the organization. 

• Proficiency in the use of computers and standard business software, including Microsoft Office and Excel, with strong keyboarding skills; ability to effectively use telephone systems, personal computers, and printers. 

• Solid understanding of company products or ability to quickly develop product knowledge 

• HAZWOPER and RCRA Certification Required
