Starting pay is $20.50 per hour. Regular quarterly raises from 3 months until top out pay of $31.46 is reached in 2.5 years. Once at top out pay then you will receive annual cost of living raises.

Hours are 6am - 3pm Monday - Friday

General Summary

Coordinate daily manufacturing schedules, maintain accurate production and inventory records, and prepare documents needed to manufacture and ship customer orders. Support efficient operations, reduced overtime, and on-time delivery. Serve as the sole backup to the Production Control Supervisor, who oversees production scheduling and inventory coordination.

Daily Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute the daily manufacturing schedule, including work needed to fulfill customer orders and replenish stock.
• Release work orders for manufacturing and assemble job folders containing the documents employees need to complete each order.
• Maintain a daily tracking sheet for orders that did not ship as scheduled.
• Enter production data into company systems and verify entries for accuracy and completeness; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Record daily production posting and prepare job folders for mesh ordered to specific dimensions.
• Prepare packing lists showing shipment contents and print labels for all customers with special documentation or labeling requirements.
• Maintain production job folders and visual tracking boards used to show when stock needs to be replenished.
• Create records for internal production jobs and close them when complete. 
• Run reports on inventory levels and usage, review changes, and investigate differences between recorded quantities and physical counts.

Production Control Supervisor Backup Responsibilities

• Serve as the sole backup to the Production Control Supervisor during absences or other periods of unavailability.
• Order angle-shaped metal components to specified dimensions when the Production Control Supervisor is out of the office.

Working Conditions

• Office setting with low to moderate noise from computers, printers, and people moving about.
• First shift, Monday through Friday; 8-hour workdays within a 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. schedule.
• Mandatory overtime depending on the operating schedule.
• Work independently or with coworkers and meet daily productivity goals.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Constant computer work.
• Approximately 2–3 hours in manufacturing areas daily.

Requirements

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Previous scheduling, inventory, or production experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and math skills.
• Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PDF software, and Gmail. Experience with reporting software such as Crystal Reports and manufacturing management software such as Made2Manage is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively, work well with others, and work under pressure.
• Background in LEAN helpful
• High school diploma or GED
