Join our Corporate Development Team in London for a 12-month industrial placement, starting in June 2027.

 

At a glance:

 

Second-year university students interested in M&A or Business Development have the opportunity to work with an experienced team and gain practical knowledge in these fields.

 

Industrial Placement Student: Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) :

 

•            Support the due diligence process for potential mergers, acquisitions, or investments.

•            Analysis of market intelligence information / deal metrics.

•            Aid in the development of financial models and analysis for valuation purposes.

•            Contribute to the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management.

•            Maintain precedent transactions databases.

 

Education Requirements:

Currently studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or another field involving analytical skills and numeracy.

 

If you are studying for your Undergraduate Degree you must be in your 2nd year of study (England) or 3rd year of study (Scotland) or an Integrated Masters Degree and seeking to complete a year in industry in partnership with your university.  Please ensure the role is suitable for your placement year.

 

Role Start Date: June 2027

Application Process:

The application process has a total of up to 4 stages:

• Application – information will be required regarding your education and Right to Work.
• Online Assessment – you will be asked to complete a behaviour based online assessment and one-way video interview supported by Hirevue.
• Interview – if selected you will be invited to attend a final stage virtual interview; The interview will consist of a competency-based interview and may include a case study/technical exercise.
• Offer – candidates will receive an outcome within 2 weeks following interview.

 

Interviews will be held in November/December 2026
