Logistics Lead

SLB is seeking a strategic and operationally focused Logistics Lead to oversee logistics execution across a country or basin. This role is responsible for coordinating transportation, import/export activities, and logistics support requirements to ensure resources, equipment, and materials are available where needed while maintaining operational efficiency. The position acts as the primary escalation point for logistics-related matters and drives alignment between field operations and logistics service providers.

We are looking for someone who demonstrates strong decision-making skills, builds effective partnerships across functions, and performs well in a dynamic environment. This role provides the opportunity to influence logistics performance through workforce development, supplier engagement, forecasting accuracy, and continuous improvement initiatives that support business growth.

### Roles and Responsibilities

• Direct country or basin logistics activities and establish priorities to meet operational requirements.
• Develop team capability through coaching, training plans, and competency assessments.
• Coordinate mobilization and demobilization forecasts with operational stakeholders.
• Evaluate supplier performance and support vendor improvement initiatives.
• Optimize fleet utilization and reduce equipment idle time through effective planning.
• Lead resolution of logistics escalations and operational disruptions.
• Drive cost-reduction opportunities and process efficiency improvements.
• Support implementation of procedural changes and operational best practices.

### Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience leading teams within logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of logistics planning, transportation management, warehouse operations, and international trade processes.
• Experience working with ERP or logistics management systems; SAP experience is an asset.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple activities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work and reside in the United States without company sponsorship.
