Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the administration of radiation therapy, medications, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition, reporting any changes to the healthcare team
• Provide patient education on treatment plans, medication management, and self-care strategies
• Support patients and their families emotionally and physically throughout their treatment journey
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid and current LPN license in the state of practice
• Prior experience in oncology or a related healthcare setting preferred
• Knowledge of cancer treatments, medications, and side effect management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
