Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a talented Plumbing Helper/Plumbing Technician to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Perform plumbing tasks working under the oversight of an NC Master Plumber for plumbing tasks related to installation of residential water filtration systems, typical residential plumbing repairs and installation of privately owned water lines connecting residences and small businesses to public water systems.
• Variable office to field duties, typically 20% office, 80% field. Field portion is 95% exterior, Residential, privately owned well supply system upgrades and trouble shooting or private public water connections.
• Travel between worksites or office in Fayetteville and Wilmington, NC 2-3 days a week. Company vehicle and tools provided for company use.
• Routine task will include assistance operating compact trenching machines, hand digging shallow trenches (<3' deep), cutting/assembling piping systems using PEX, NA standard pipe thread, solvent weld and limited flanged piping systems.
• Operating routine power tools.
• Other tasks include clearing vegetation, collecting Residential water samples, preparing Residential filter systems.
• Full-time position with flexible work hours.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• High school education or GED
• NC Drivers License
• 2+ years experience assisting licensed plumbers preferred
• Ability to work in exterior conditions with typical NC summer and winter conditions
• Ability to work in the field, on your feet with routine lifting of up to 50-lbs for general material handling tasks
