Day, evening, and night shifts are available. Openings:Medical/Surgical RNCommunity Living Center (CLC) RNSpinal Cord Injury (SCI) Rehabilitation RN Position SummaryAptive Resources, in partnership with the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, is hiring Registered Nurses across Med/Surg, CLC, and SCI Rehab units to provide skilled, Veteran-centered nursing care. RNs in these roles deliver direct patient care, monitor chronic and acute conditions, support rehabilitation and recovery goals, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, therapists, and case managers to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes and smooth transitions of care.Primary Responsibilities
Unit Overviews- Med/Surg: Provides acute inpatient nursing care to medically and post-surgically complex Veterans, including monitoring, treatment administration, and coordination with specialty services.
- Community Living Center (CLC): Short-stay post-acute inpatient setting and skilled nursing environment offering 24/7 nursing care, rehab therapies, chronic condition management, and safe transition planning. CLC neighborhoods include, respiratory care, wound/IV therapy, dementia/cognitive care, blind rehab, and hospice.
- Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Rehab: Delivers specialized nursing care to Veterans with spinal cord injuries and disorders, supporting rehabilitation, functional independence, bladder/bowel and skin integrity management, and long-term care planning.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS may be required based on assignment
- 2 years of recent inpatient clinical experience in skilled nursing, rehab, long-term care, med-surg, or post-acute care preferred
- Ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team
- Strong organizational, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred
- All nursing degrees must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE
