What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily workflow and monitor team performance to ensure department goals and service standards are consistently met.
- Foster a positive work environment, address employee concerns, and provide coaching or corrective action when necessary.
- Support staffing activities, including hiring, onboarding, employee development, and separation processes.
- Monitor escalations, review operational data, and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, internal controls, and applicable employment laws.
- Collaborate with department heads and internal/external stakeholders on process improvements, strategic planning, and business requirements.
- Communicate operational and procedural changes effectively and participate in management and cross-divisional meetings as needed.
Key Criteria
- At least 2 years of experience leading a healthcare or document retrieval team, with hands-on experience in medical records processing or a related field.
- Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical records, correspondence, and other documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with clients, vendors, management, and internal teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify trends, assess risks, and recommend solutions.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment while adapting to changing business needs.
- Strong understanding of client needs, organizational goals, and operational requirements, with the ability to quickly learn new processes and concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including formulas and spreadsheet management, with the ability to navigate multiple software systems.
Work setup:
- Manila (BGC, Taguig): US Eastern Time 8:00AM to 5:00PM (8:00PM – 5:00AM PHT) with a full onsite work arrangement.
