As a Service Tech I, you’ll use your skills (diesel, automotive or other mechanical) to perform maintenance tasks as well as minor repairs on equipment in a safe and professional manner. What you'll do:
Perform maintenance checks on rental equipment before and after use
Report machine condition to Management
Perform minor repairs of rental equipment including checking oil, grease, fluids, electrical systems, AC systems, Plumbing, and tagging of equipment for rental ready status
Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
Manage and Organize Inventory
Other duties assigned as needed
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Basic knowledge of Diesel Engines, Vacuum Trucks, AC Systems, RV Systems
Strong mechanical aptitude including knowledge of tools applicable to position
Basic plumbing knowledge
Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Under direct supervision, the Service Tech I - Fabrication safely diagnoses, repairs & replaces
components for a light industrial, weld/fabrication facility. Incumbent must have solid knowledge of electrical schematics for machinery and play a key role in the planning of preventative, predictive, and proactive maintenance. Works in accordance with safety regulations and procedures at all times.
What you’ll do:
Perform highly diversified duties to maintain and repair plant facility’s equipment.
Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and welding. Troubleshooting and repair of production machines
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
Use of a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and materials handling equipment in performing duties
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
Adhere to safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Active applicable state class driver’s license
Proficiency in industrial mechanics - Maintain and repair facilities and equipment, gearboxes and motors, pneumatic systems, valves (electric and pneumatic), screw conveyor and bucket elevator systems, forklifts, scissor lifts, telehandlers, skid-steers, paint booth equipment, blast boot equipment, hydraulics maintenance and repair
PLC experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of 1Ø & 3Ø high voltage and low voltage systems
Ability to analyze equipment malfunctions and develop effective solutions
Basic mechanical aptitude
Basic knowledge of tools
Demonstrated teamwork and customer service skills
Detail oriented
Ability to work independently as well as within a team
Ability to understand rental cycle
Bilingual a plus
