Job Description:
The Functional Business Support professional serves as a key business management partner within Global Transaction Management Operations (GTMO). The role is responsible for driving strategic change, business transformation, and project execution across the functions. Acting as a trusted partner to Operations Leadership, the role supports the planning, coordination, governance, and delivery of key business initiatives while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
The incumbent will lead and coordinate cross-functional projects involving Operations, Technology, Product, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Human Resources, ensuring successful execution of transformation programs, process improvements, and business growth initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Business Management & Governance
- Support GTMO leadership in executing strategic objectives and business priorities.
- Coordinate governance forums, leadership meetings, town halls, and management reviews.
- Prepare management reports, business updates, presentations, and executive communications.
- Track and monitor action items, risks, issues, and management commitments.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, governance standards, and control requirements.
Change & Project Management
- Coordinate business initiatives, transformation programs, and process improvement activities.
- Partner with Operations and Technology teams to facilitate project implementation and change adoption.
- Monitor project milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
- Support business readiness, communication, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Risk & Control Support
- Assist in managing operational risk, audit, compliance, and regulatory deliverables.
- Track risk remediation actions, control issues, and governance reporting requirements.
- Support internal and external audit engagements.
- Ensure timely completion of mandatory reviews, attestations, and control activities.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a central coordination point between GTMO leadership and support functions.
- Build effective working relationships across Operations, Technology, Product, HR, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and external partners.
- Facilitate communication and alignment on business priorities and key initiatives.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Leverage data analytics to support decision-making and process optimization.
- Implement best practices and enhance reporting automation where applicable.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, Technology, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Management, Operations Support, Project Management, or Banking Operations.
- Strong understanding of transaction banking, payments, cash management, or operations environments.
- Experience supporting senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI).
