Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Perform tax reconciliation of incoming invoices (materials, services, assets, imports, transfers), verifying CFOP, CST, NCM, tax rates, tax base, and other legal requirements.
2. Execute the accounting of invoices in SAP, ensuring that all tax information is consistent and compliant with current legislation.
3. Validate and execute the Fiscal Receiving process integrated with Physical Receiving, including verification of purchase orders, contracts, prices, taxes, and commercial conditions.
4. Address tax and system discrepancies in MM/SD processes, working together with Purchasing, Logistics, Accounting, and IT for necessary corrections and adjustments.
5. Monitor ICMS, ICMS-ST, IPI, ISS, PIS/COFINS rules and tax benefits applicable to incoming operations.
6. Perform tax tests in SAP and Synchro resulting from adjustments, new legal rules, or process improvements.
7. Provide technical support to internal and external audits, supplying tax evidence and justifications for the receiving process.
8. Maintain control and monitoring of changes in tax legislation that impact the inbound process.
Who are we looking for?
• We are looking for a professional with the following skills and motivations:
• Higher education in progress/completed (preferably in the areas of accounting, law, administration or economics).
• For hiring, it is desirable to have at least 2 years of prior experience in the fiscal and/or tax area, or related functions, necessary to master the main activities of the position.
• Experience with SAP and Synchro is desirable.
• Proactive profile in problem solving, teamwork and desire for professional development.
• Analytical reasoning, attention to detail, organization and good communication.
• Intermediate English.
