Description

Your work will enable our sales teams, sharpen our market signal, accelerate product demand, and give business leaders a measurable advantage. You have an eye on innovation, and a clear vision for your business. You know communication is crucial, and you know the same-old, same-old doesn’t work. You’re an early adopter and influencer. Hello Senior Vice President of Marketing! Start here.

This is not a role for a caretaker. We are looking for a senior marketing executive who sees around corners, turns market intelligence into action, and builds the systems that prepare sales to win. You will support sales enablement, direct marketing, and merchandising across a fast-moving portfolio of businesses. You will own more than $4 million in direct-marketing investment and be accountable for what that investment produces.

Our company is driven by speed, product, and signal. Speed means moving from insight to execution before the opportunity cools. Product means understanding what we sell, why it matters, and how to position it. Signal means separating useful market truth from noise, then converting it into campaigns, leads, tools, and decisions that drive revenue.

If you have the judgment of a CMO, the operating discipline of a growth leader, and a relentless pursuit of preparing sales efforts for success, show us what you can do.

The mandate

Build a modern, revenue-connected marketing engine that creates qualified demand, improves sales readiness, grows customer value, and expands the commercial reach of our brands and products. You will partner directly with business leaders and sales leadership to define priorities, translate them into executable plans, and make results visible.

What you will own

  • Sales enablement and lead generation. Create the strategies, campaigns, content, offers, tools, and feedback loops that help sales teams enter every conversation prepared and convert demand into revenue.
  • Direct marketing at scale. Lead a $4M+ portfolio across paid media, email, lifecycle, database, direct response, landing pages, events, retargeting, and other performance channels. Set the investment thesis, test aggressively, track spending, measure user engagement, and improve return.
  • Merchandising. Shape product assortment, positioning, launches, promotions, pricing insights, customer experience, and inventory-aware marketing in partnership with operating leaders.
  • Enterprise marketing strategy. Establish the vision, priorities, operating cadence, resource allocation, and standards that connect brand, product, content, demand generation, and sales outcomes.
  • Market signal and research. Build a disciplined research capability that identifies audience behavior, unmet demand, competitive shifts, product opportunities, and messages that move customers.
  • Team and capability. Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performance marketing organization across creative, content, digital, performance, analytics, social, and merchandising.

How you will lead

  • Set clear commercial goals with business and sales leaders, then translate those goals into channel plans, campaigns, deadlines, ownership, and measurable outcomes.
  • Create a relentless sales-preparation rhythm: audience intelligence, competitive insights, campaign briefs, messaging, proof points, objection handling, launch materials, and real-time performance feedback.
  • Build an end-to-end funnel view from reach and response through lead quality, sales acceptance, conversion, revenue, repeat purchase, and customer value.
  • Manage budget through evidence. Reallocate quickly when the signal changes, protect productive investments, and stop work that does not create value.
  • Develop a test-and-learn system with clear hypotheses, fast cycles, clean measurement, and decisive follow-through.
  • Protect the voice and integrity of each brand while ensuring the marketing portfolio works as one coordinated commercial engine.
  • Create executive-level reporting that explains what happened, why it happened, what it means, and what the organization should do next.

What success looks like

  • Sales teams are better prepared, faster to act, and equipped with tools and intelligence they actively use.
  • Qualified lead volume, lead quality, conversion, revenue contribution, and marketing efficiency improve through disciplined experimentation and investment.
  • The $4M+ direct-marketing portfolio has transparent attribution, clear decision rules, and an accountable path to return.
  • Merchandising decisions reflect customer demand, product economics, brand strategy, and inventory realities.
  • Business leaders can see how marketing activity connects to pipeline, transactions, customer value, and growth.
  • The marketing team operates with urgency, high standards, curiosity, and ownership. Deadlines mean something.

The experience behind the ambition

  • 12+ years of progressive marketing leadership, including meaningful executive responsibility for growth, demand generation, direct response, product marketing, or an integrated marketing function.
  • Proven ownership of a multimillion-dollar marketing budget and a record of improving revenue, pipeline, customer acquisition, ROAS, CPC,CTR, conversion, or lifetime value
  • Demonstrated success partnering with sales leaders and building enablement programs that influence field behavior and commercial performance.
  • Experience leading merchandising, ecommerce, consumer products, events, subscriptions, education, media, consulting, or another product-rich business is strongly valued.
  • Command of paid media, email and lifecycle marketing, LLMEO, SEO and organic growth, social, content, analytics, experimentation, attribution, and marketing technology.
  • Strong business judgment. You understand unit economics, margin, customer behavior, pricing, trade-offs, and the difference between activity and impact.
  • Experience building, restructuring, and developing multidisciplinary teams in a high-growth or high-accountability environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field. Advanced education is welcome, but demonstrated results carry the most weight.

The traits we will recognize

  • Research instinct. You do the work, challenge assumptions, and arrive informed.
  • Hunger and desire. You want the responsibility, the pressure, and the opportunity to build.
  • Competitive drive. You study the market, measure the scoreboard, and intend to win.
  • Deadline discipline. You commit, communicate early, and deliver when it matters.
  • Curiosity. You ask better questions and follow the signal wherever it leads.
  • Personal development. You are obsessed with improving your judgment, capability, and leadership.

The invitation

Visualize yourself as our CMO. Show us what you can do. Do not send us a résumé that only lists responsibilities. Show us the business problems you solved, the sales efforts you strengthened, the leads and revenue you created, the budget you commanded, the teams you elevated, and the decisions you made when speed mattered. Bring the evidence. Bring the lessons. Bring the plan you would want to be judged by.

This executive opportunity includes a competitive base salary, performance-based incentive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package. Final compensation will reflect the scope of experience, demonstrated results, and leadership capability of the selected candidate.
