Description
Minimum Experience:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, or process plant environments.
Scope of Works:
- Responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure reliable plant operations and minimize downtime.
- The role includes reviewing work requests, conducting field checks, and preparing job plans covering manpower, materials, tools, and safety requirements.
- Maintenance Planners also prepare job packages, manage work orders in CMMS/SAP, and ensure all required resources are available before work starts.
- Work closely with MAC, operations, maintenance teams, and contractors to plan and schedule preventive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance activities based on production requirements.
- Analyze maintenance data, monitor performance, and improve planning processes to enhance equipment reliability, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
- Conversant in:
- Knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling
- Experience with CMMS/SAP PM (Plant Maintenance)
- Experience in work order management and job package preparation
- Knowledge of resource planning, including manpower, tools, and materials
- Basic knowledge of cost estimation and contracting
Technical Knowledge:
- Good understanding of plant equipment and systems, including rotating equipment, electrical, and instrumentation
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance concepts
- Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings
- Knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling
- Ability to develop detailed job plans and work orders
- Experience planning preventive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance
- Ability to sequence tasks and estimate work duration, manpower, tools, and materials
