Overview
As an Associate in the Asset Services team, you will be responsible for receiving, acknowledging, and executing Client instructions to effect non-expiring Ad-Hoc conversions pertaining to both fixed income and equity securities, Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Actions, and Income processing. In addition, you will document analytical processing data for upstream reporting and participate in upcoming run the Bank and change the Bank initiatives within the Asset Services team processing landscape. Stakeholders include Global Markets Investment Bank, Corporate Bank, middle office teams, the global Asset Services team, Global Technology teams, Relationship and Transaction Management Teams, and the Embedded Risk Team (ERT).

What You’ll Do
Process payments timely for all corporate action events to entitled holders and communicate payment terms timely and effectively
Execute instructions via SWIFT and book-entry form via DTCC and Euroclear, as well as physical securities processing via US Agents
Balance transactions for events and resolve exceptions, including calculation and reconciliation of books and records and proper break management of depot and nostro accounts
Make election-process decisions on how to apply obligations against available inventory, including proprietary inventory, street obligations, or short positions, recognizing potential reputational and relationship impact with each counterpart
Ensure timely and effective escalation to Asset Services management when transactions may create risk for Clients and the Firm, while building and managing relationships with Asset Services local and global staff, management, and colleagues across other Bank functions
Facilitate communication between Bank groups, Agents, and Depositories; support Asset Services innovation strategies, UAT planning, user training, implementation, and production verification; act as a role model for new employees by supporting early integration; and develop detailed business knowledge of the various teams and processes within Asset Services, including Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Actions, Dividends, Custody, and Tax Utility teams
Skills You’ll Need
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent)
Relevant experience in a banking or financial services processing environment
Expert-level analytical skills, flexible regarding production problem solving
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), fluent in English (written and verbal) as appropriate
Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Ability to work in fast paced environment, keep pace with technical innovation and maintain a broad understanding of the product offering
Open minded, able to share information, knowledge and expertise with peers & team members
Relationship management and influencing/negotiation skills – to be able to manage relationships with team members including those located remotely
Experience processing voluntary instructions and/or mandatory corporate actions with detailed knowledge of Corporate Actions processing via DTC, Euroclear and Agents
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $48,000 to $74,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
