What is the opportunity?
Responsible for conducting quality assurance reviews, testing, and monitoring of deliverables and processes to ensure compliance with established standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves developing and maintaining Quality Control (QC) documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and identifying areas for improvement. The position reports to the QC Lead and plays a critical role in maintaining organizational quality and operational excellence.
What will you do?
- Conduct thorough reviews of deliverables, processes, or systems to identify defects, inconsistencies, or areas for improvement.
- Create and update quality control procedures, checklists, and testing protocols. Ensure documentation reflects current best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Track adherence to quality standards across assigned areas. Flag deviations and recommend corrective actions to maintain consistency and quality.
- Work with operations, technology, business, and risk teams to understand requirements, gather feedback, and communicate quality findings. Participate in process improvement discussions.
- Compile QC data, analyze trends in defects or issues, and present findings to leadership. Use insights to recommend process enhancements and demonstrate the value of quality control activities
- Mentor the team and provide coaching and performance feedback, identify training needs, and foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.
- Present QC metrics, risk assessments, and improvement initiatives to senior leadership and business partners. Escalate critical issues, recommend solutions, and demonstrate the impact of quality control efforts on business outcomes.
- Define quality control objectives, standards, and processes aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements. Oversee the implementation of QC frameworks and ensure accountability across the team.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have’s
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-2 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, compliance, operations, or a related function.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to work with data and documentation systems.
- Strong attention to detail — The ability to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and defects in processes, systems, or deliverables with precision and thoroughness.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills — Capability to assess issues, root cause analysis, and recommend practical solutions to improve quality and operational efficiency.
- Communication and collaboration — Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, document findings clearly, and communicate quality concerns to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Process-oriented mindset — Comfort working within established procedures and standards while also identifying opportunities for process improvement and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
