We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Student Housing and Residential Life Office as an Assistant Manager (Hall Admission). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the admission process for student housing.
Job Duties:
- Manage, review, and process student housing applications in accordance with University policies and procedures.
- Coordinate the bed space allocation and assignment for students, taking into account housing eligibility, priorities, and operational requirements.
- Handle enquiries, appeals, and special housing requests, and provide guidance to students and stakeholders.
- Liaise with academic departments, student support offices, residential hall service teams to facilitate smooth housing operations.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of hall admission exercises, housing projects, and policy initiatives.
- Undertake other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Work outside normal office hours when required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
- Experience with database or student information systems is advantageous.
(Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
