Description
Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a reliable Maintenance Purchasing Coordinator in Lawrenceville, Ga . In this role, you will serve as the liaison between the Maintenance department and vendors while supporting purchasing, receiving, inventory management, and day-to-day operations in a manufacturing environment. In a Maintenance Purchasing & Receiving Coordinator job, you’ll be responsible for:
- Receiving shipments ordered by the Maintenance Manager, physically counting items, and reporting any missing materials.
- Entering newly received items into stock and maintaining accurate inventory.
- Communicating with vendors by phone and email and following up as needed.
- Providing Accounts Payable with packing lists daily and obtaining missing documentation from vendors.
- Creating purchase orders for onsite vendors such as Fastenal.
- Monitoring material supplies and reporting inventory needs to management.
What you’ll need:
- Basic knowledge of purchasing procedures, pricing, and market trends.
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and purchasing/accounts payable software.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and regularly climb stairs and maneuver around equipment.
Schedule and Pay:
- Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
- $19-$21/hr.
