Your Team:
Team is responsible for ASX's reference data system and Markets announcement platform, a vendor platform with capabilities including build, test, release and maintain of systems and its customisation within the Markets Line of Business.
Your responsibilities:
Engagement with internal stakeholders to elicit business, system and operational requirements.
Analysis of current state processes and mapping of future state processes and associated models.
Liaise with vendors and development teams on project progress, problem resolution and solution design.
Understand business processes and translate them into technical requirements.
Analyze interface requirements and document interface mappings.
Responsible for requirements specification, stakeholder walkthroughs, technical analysis of functional and nonfunctional specifications.
Deconstruct high -level business goals into specific technical user stories, technical specifications, and functional designs.
Support functional feature testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Map out data flows and integration points to ensure systems interact seamlessly. Creation of entity -relationship diagrams, sequence diagrams, business and technical Process flows, configuration documentation, message mapping and detailed functional specs.
Must have:
5+ years' experience as technical business analyst.
Experience with documenting technical process flows.
Experience with data mapping and data translation from one system to another.
Confident with SQL to query database and message formats like XML, FIX and JSON.
Experience in unit/system and integration testing.
Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models and technologies.
Engage with functional business analysts, designers and front -end engineers, and collaborate with leading back -end engineers to create technical requirements.
Work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to look at the big picture and at the same time, dive into the details.
Effective problem -solving skills, welcomes change and adaptable within a very dynamic environment.
Effective communication, facilitation, influencing and negotiation skills. Can collaborate with stakeholders across seniority levels
Nice to have:
Experience with testing micro -services and/or container -based architectures.
Created or contributed to Business requirement frameworks.
Capital Markets industry experience such as understanding of Stocks and shares, derivatives markets, and the business processes related to clearing of member trades.
Lateral thinker – bring forward ideas that will automate repeatable tasks to reduce work effort and ensure quality deliverables.
