1. Tax Compliance, Statutory Reporting & VAS Management

 

·       Prepare, review, and submit all tax declarations and filings, including VAT, FCT, and CIT on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

·       Manage and submit all statutory and compulsory reports required under Vietnamese regulations, including statistical reports, investment reports, and other government filings.

·       Stay up to date with new tax laws, accounting regulations, circulars, and governmental requirements; ensure timely implementation and communication of regulatory changes within the company.

·       Act as the main contact point and work directly with Tax Authorities and other Government Agencies regarding compliance, audits, inspections, and reporting matters.

·       Review accounting records and statutory books to ensure full compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and local regulations.

·       Coordinate and work closely with external consultants and professional service firms (e.g., EY, Deloitte, Grant Thornton) on tax, statutory, and VAS-related matters.

 

2. Accounts Payable Management

 

·       Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.

·       Review and verify payment requests and supporting documentation prior to processing payments.

·       Ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors, suppliers, employees, and other stakeholders.

·       Maintain proper documentation and records supporting payment transactions.

·       Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to Accounts Payable.

3. Other Responsibilities

 

·       Follow up and resolve long-outstanding tax matters, including tax reconciliations for TGF, TVL, and TGLV.

·       Prepare supporting documentation and analysis for Double Taxation Agreement (DTA) exemption applications and Transfer Pricing compliance requirements.

·       Ensure accurate, complete, and systematic filing and retention of accounting, tax, and statutory documents in compliance with regulatory requirements.

·       Liaise and coordinate with banks, Tax Authorities, and other Government Agencies on operational, compliance, and regulatory matters.

·       Support internal and external audits by providing required documents and explanations.

·       Perform other duties and ad hoc assignments as requested by the Manager.


Requirements


·       Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.

·       Minimum 3-7 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance.

·       Strong knowledge of Vietnamese tax regulations, VAS, and local statutory reporting requirements.

·       Experience working with tax consultants, auditors, and government authorities.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/SAP systems.

·       Good communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.

·       Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.
