Position Overview:
- Create and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with kindergarten curriculum and learning objectives.
- Develop lesson plans, assess student progress, and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Establish and maintain a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes student learning, safety, and participation.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support students’ academic and social-emotional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid Connecticut Teaching Certification
- Non-certified candidates must have classroom teaching experience with kindergarten students, including lesson planning and classroom management.
- 1–2 years of kindergarten classroom teaching experience preferred
