Description
The purpose of the Analyst, Product Research role on the Product Contract Excellence team is to fulfill Liberty Mutual's promise through the development of contract language and customer notices. You will be responsible for owning and maintaining GRS forms, rules, including procedures and assessing compliance of the our products. This role allows you to partner and collaborate with other departments on new product initiatives, product updates and regulatory changes with a focus on being customer centric.
**This is a ranged posting (gr 12-13) and level offered will be based on candidate experience at manager discretion. Those located within a 50-mile radius of our Boston, Portsmouth, Columbus, Plano and Seattle offices are expected to return to the office 2 days a week.**
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Product, Claims, and Legal to research, analyze and develop coverage language for new product initiatives, product updates and regulatory changes with a focus on being customer centric
- Coordinate multiple Product form and rule initiatives. Use various resources to compile information and develop recommendations. Drive revisions as needed, including form revisions, systems changes and process changes.
- Partner with Product Filing team on form and rule filings for submission to regulatory authorities. Prepare objection responses and provides supporting documentation to achieve approval of filings.
- Take a proactive role in identifying process deficiencies and helps execute process improvement initiatives.
- Work in a team environment on ad hoc projects.
- Invest in the training and development of the team
- Promote cross-departmental collaboration in order to meet business goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, economics, statistics, or other quantitative field.
- Minimum 2 year's relevant experience, typically 3 years.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, Emblem).
- Must have good planning, organizational, analytical, decision making and communication skills.
