We are looking for a Process Lead responsible for defining, implementing, and continuously improving the assigned production process in alignment with international best practices and the company's operational requirements. The role ensures the consistent application of process standards across the entire production organization while fostering effective collaboration with upstream, downstream, and supporting functions through a strong internal customer-supplier approach. By monitoring market demands, performance targets, and technological developments, the role drives continuous process optimization to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and optimize manufacturing processes within the assigned production area to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, and operational performance.
- Define and maintain process workflows, including required resources, competencies, tools, equipment, documentation, and performance indicators.
- Monitor process performance and KPIs, identify recurring issues, determine root causes, and implement continuous improvement actions using methodologies such as Lean Production, Value Stream Mapping, and other best practices.
- Optimize workflow sequences, material utilization, and resource allocation to reduce execution times and eliminate waste.
- Develop and implement quality control methods in accordance with project documentation, site standards, and international best practices.
- Ensure compliance with procedures, work instructions, quality requirements, and competency standards by auditing processes, validating documentation, qualifications, tools, and equipment, and managing corrective actions for identified non-conformities.
- Develop and maintain the Process Manual, ensuring processes, responsibilities, standards, controls, and best practices are clearly documented, standardized, and accessible to all relevant stakeholders.
- Support workforce capability development by identifying training needs and proposing solutions to enhance employee competencies.
- Provide technical and operational support to managers and supervisors, resolving process-related issues and ensuring smooth process execution.
Skills & experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in the naval field or another technical specialization.
- Previous experience in the naval sector.
- Previous experience in piping processes within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in optimizing and improving piping processes.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Competence in decision-making and taking responsibility.
- Communication skills for effective collaboration with the team.
- Advanced knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in using Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to work under stress.
What We Are Looking For
