The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:

$52,800.00 - $79,200.00

Purpose Statement: To fabricate mechanical components for test equipment for use in manufacturing and product development prototypes.

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Using CAD-CAM tools; develop drawings of mechanical components and successfully fabricate, utilize the document control system.
• Participates in design reviews to ensure equipment hardware designs are optimized for durability, construction efficiency, serviceability, and consistency with established practices.
• Leads ongoing efforts to improve the fabrication process so that Plexus Engineering Solutions remains competitive. Identify and make suggestions for process improvement so as to improve quality and/or reduce cost.
• Leads the fabrication and assembly of components/complete systems based on designs or as directed by engineering.
• Leads CAD designs for parts/systems and ability to create CAM programs for machining
• Provide quality products and services to all internal and external customers.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree with 4 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

• CAD/CAM creation and ownership, CNC and manual machine operation

Physical Requirements:

• Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
