Important Location & Hybrid Requirement
Candidates must live in the Jacksonville, Florida area or be willing to commute to our centers in Jacksonville as required. This is a hybrid remote position and is not a fully remote role. Initial training will take place on-site in Jacksonville, and periodic in-person attendance will be required for training and operational needs.
We have multiple shifts available, including 3x12 schedules. This role will support our remote MRI scanning operations and will involve operating two MRI scanners — one Siemens and one GE system.

About Precision Imaging Centers
Precision Imaging Centers is seeking experienced MRI Technologists to join our growing Jacksonville team. We provide outpatient diagnostic imaging in a welcoming, spa-like environment designed to deliver a comfortable and exceptional patient experience.
As we continue expanding our remote scanning capabilities through our Radiology Operations Command Center (ROCC), this position offers MRI Technologists the opportunity to combine their clinical expertise with remote scanning technology while remaining part of a collaborative local team.
Position Overview
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing safe, high-quality diagnostic MRI examinations while providing an exceptional patient experience. This position requires strong knowledge of MRI safety, anatomy, physiology, imaging protocols, and scanner operation.
Successful candidates will be confident working independently, comfortable managing multiple responsibilities, and able to communicate effectively with both on-site and remote team members. Strong critical-thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to remote scanning workflows are essential.
Essential Job Functions
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols
- Operate and support Siemens and GE MRI equipment
- Maintain MRI safety for patients, staff, and visitors
- Complete verbal and written MRI safety screenings
- Explain procedures clearly and help patients feel comfortable throughout their examination
- Select appropriate coils and imaging protocols based on the examination and patient needs
- Properly position patients and utilize immobilization devices when necessary
- Set technical parameters and operate MRI scanners and related equipment
- Monitor examinations and evaluate image quality for diagnostic accuracy
- Administer contrast media when required
- Perform venipuncture and follow appropriate contrast safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with on-site and remote team members
- Support efficient patient flow and timely completion of examinations
- Follow established quality assurance and safety procedures
- Participate in training and continuing education as required
Education & Certification Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current Florida Radiologic Technologist License
- ARRT Certification in Radiography – ARRT(R)
- ARRT Certification in Magnetic Resonance – ARRT(MR)
- Current BLS Certification
- Venipuncture experience
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience preferred
- Experience with Siemens and/or GE MRI equipment preferred
- Previous remote scanning or ROCC experience is a plus but not required

Schedule & Availability
Multiple Full-Time and PRN scheduling options are available, including 3x12 shifts. Specific schedules will be discussed during the interview process based on current department needs.
Candidates must live in or within commuting distance of Jacksonville, Florida. On-site training and periodic in-person attendance at our Jacksonville locations are required.
