Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Manager specializing in Railroad Track systems to lead our quality assurance initiatives on the job site in Atlanta, Georgia. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality management systems to ensure safety, compliance, and excellence in railroad track construction and maintenance. Your expertise will drive adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of quality across all operations. Duties
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems aligned with ISO 9001 standards and industry best practices for railroad track projects.
- Lead quality audits across multiple sites to ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and safety standards such as FDA regulations, GMP, HACCP, CGMP, and other relevant legal frameworks.
- Conduct thorough inspections of railroad tracks, including visual assessments and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) analysis to verify adherence to precise manufacturing specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineering, manufacturing, and project management—to establish quality control procedures that support Six Sigma manufacturing principles and lean management strategies.
- Oversee root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality issues identified during inspections or audits.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to safety standards in rail infrastructure projects by maintaining detailed documentation and records of quality activities.
- Lead training sessions on quality standards such as ISO, GMP, QA/QC protocols, and regulatory compliance to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
