Product Industrialization Engineer in the field of plastic injection molding

Job Description:

• Responsible for the industrialization and implementation of specifications and changes to manufactured parts or services at the supplier's site
• Responsible for the industrialization of plastic injection-molded parts at external suppliers
• Change management for externally manufactured parts throughout their lifecycle within the complex supply chain (Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier n)
• Qualification and approval of components
• Coordination of specifications with the development department regarding design and layout
• Coordination with suppliers regarding manufacturability and production equipment (Design for Manufacturing)
• Analysis of quality issues in the production process

Must-Haves:

• In-depth knowledge of production processes and procedures in the following areas:
• Plastic injection molding
• Downstream processes in assembly (such as ultrasonic welding, hot embedding, etc.)
• Project management (with a focus on subprojects)
• Knowledge of ISO GPS

Desirable:

• Knowledge of mold design concepts (plastic injection molding)
• Part qualification and approval
• Collaboration with external suppliers
• Experience working in regulated industries (medical, automotive, aerospace)
• Basic knowledge of metalworking
• Cross-team and international collaboration
