Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a high-earning role with a 4-day working week? We are recruiting for a well-established food distribution company in Hoddesdon offering top pay, great perks, full training, and a direct temp-to-perm pathway.

 

Pay & Earnings

• Temp to Perm Rate: £19.65 per hour while on agency

• Once Permanent: £49,000 basic salary, plus overtime at Time and a half, with an estimated annual earnings of £55,000 per year

Shift Options & Routine

• Shift Length: 12 hours per shift

• Schedule Options (Choose one):

  • Pattern A: Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

  • Pattern B: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday

  • Pattern C: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

• Fixed Routine: Set start time for your shifts (between 01:30 and 06:30) so you always know your schedule

• Consistent Routes: Generally assigned the same set routes to help you build efficiency and get to know your deliveries

 

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver chilled goods to local shops and restaurants

• Use an electric pallet truck for safe and efficient offloading

• Perform daily pre-trip vehicle checks and maintain accurate paperwork

• Provide excellent, professional customer service at all delivery points

 

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

• Up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card

• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with early morning starts

• Physical capability to handle pallet truck deliveries in a fast-paced environment
