Production Planner

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Production Planner.

## What you’ll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Based on customer demand (SAP), create production programs for the assigned area (finished goods or components), ensuring supply of components to internal or external customers on quantity and on time. Maintain high-level performance in five principal metrics (Service, Quality, Security, Inventory, Flex Productivity), including OTD, DOH.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

A. Analyze capacity by area, line, machine, and/or assemblies based on demand.

B. Make action plans and follow-up focused on achieving results

C. Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay

D. Assure demand management and forecasting for successful business model.

E. Proactively lead value stream to meet internal targets.

F. Propose improvements and create systems for effective production programs.

G. Ensure coordination w/ functional team: manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover production

H. Ensure coordination with plant Production Planners to execute Production Plans on a weekly and monthly basis.

I. Schedule shifts according to production needs.

J. Monitor jobs to ensure timely completion within budget.

K. Prepare and submit status and performance reports.

L. Collaborate with production, tool room, purchasing, Opex, quality control, warehouse, and other staff.

M. Work according to LSW.

N. Meet objectives in OTD, DOH _ Avoid generating overstock.

O. Level production as needed to meet customer expectations.

P. Resolve quality and human resource issues proactively.

Q. Perform weekly corrections using ZMRPEXLIST tool (Exceptions).

R. Maintain updated SAP parameters for planning area (Screens: MRP 1, 2, 3 & 4).

S. Complete priority report for USA & Domestic Market within 24 hours after receiving email.

T. Respond to delivery time inquiries within 24 hours

## Qualifications:

Business administration, Supply Chaing Management, Logistics, Engineering

Experience in managing manufacturing processes, productivity, and efficiency measurements.

Experience using MRP/ERP systems, especially Advance Planning Systems

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Math and statistics proficiency

SAP knowledge Effective communication
