Essential job functions:
- Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school
- Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church
- Supports and adheres to the Religious Standards for Catholic School Employees and policies and procedures of the school and Archdiocese
- Maintains confidentiality regarding school matters
- Provides student data entry and record maintenance to include academic records, transcripts, religious certificates and immunization records
- Contacts parents for attendance information
- Assists school administration with starting and ending of the school year
- Conducts preregistrations for current families and offers customers support through the application, registration and enrollment process
- Initiates the new student cumulative record during the enrollment process and maintains on going enrollment status and records
- Serves as the Registrar for the school by requesting/providing requested copies of approved student record contents
- Maintains the accuracy of the school’s student/family database
- Maintains current and accurate records according to school policy
- Communicates effectively within the school community and with prospective families
- Meets staff development guidelines as set forth by the school and assisting is prompting the school and its mission
- Demonstrates professionalism in conduct, demeanor, and work habits
- Maintains a work schedule that maximizes availability to the school, students and staff
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Able to serve as a professional ambassador and representative of the school
- Able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form
- Able to work well with others in the school community
- Skill in handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Skill in organizing and relating information in an understandable format
- Skill in appropriate job technology (FACTS, CRM, SIS, Word, Excel)
- Skill in critical thinking and planning
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in Liturgical Ministry.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver license
- Valid vehicle insurance
- Must pass archdiocesan Safe Environment Requirements and background screening
- Must pass Texas DPS Fingerprint-based Applicant Clearinghouse screening
