JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Cardiac Device Assistant performs routine clinical and administrative tasks in the Cardiac Rhythm Management Clinic, provides medical assistant services to patients in the clinic office, and assists the provider and/ or Cardiac Device Technician with patient care. This position functions in an assistant role to the Physician, Registered Nurse, or Cardiac Device Technician in the provision of patient care activities.

EDUCATION

  • Follows current requirements to obtain a MA-C or LPN credential from the WA DOH.

EXPERIENCE

  • One year of experience in ambulatory office preferred.
  • Experience working with cardiology patients preferred.

LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
  • Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant Certification or LPN required.
