Description
Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll lead a tenured team of sales and operations professionals while overseeing the sales, customer experience, merchandising, and day-to-day operations of the showroom. You'll have the autonomy to test new ideas, strengthen sales discipline, build relationships throughout the local design and construction community, and find creative ways to bring homeowners, designers, architects, builders, and other trade professionals through the door. For someone who wants to think beyond simply managing a retail location, there is significant runway to help develop a successful showroom model that could ultimately be expanded into additional markets.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the overall performance of the showroom, with responsibility for growing sales, profitability, and customer engagement.
- Develop and test creative sales and marketing strategies that increase showroom traffic, strengthen relationships with designers, architects, builders, and other trade partners, and build awareness throughout the local market.
- Strengthen sales discipline through consistent processes, CRM utilization, customer follow-up, and greater visibility into sales activity and performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop a tenured team of sales consultants and showroom operations employees, creating clear expectations, accountability, and a strong customer-focused culture.
- Help develop a scalable showroom strategy, with the potential to contribute to future locations, expansion opportunities, or acquisitions as the business grows.
What You Bring:
- Experience leading a bath, plumbing, kitchen, lighting, home improvement, or closely related retail/showroom environment, with bath and plumbing experience strongly preferred.
- Proven retail sales leadership experience, including coaching teams, driving accountability, and improving sales performance.
- Experience building relationships and generating business with homeowners, designers, architects, builders, contractors, and other trade professionals.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the initiative and creativity to test new ideas, develop growth strategies, and build local market awareness.
- Strong business acumen, including experience managing budgets, evaluating performance, and balancing sales growth with profitability.
- Experience leveraging CRM systems to strengthen sales discipline and visibility into sales activity.
- Working knowledge of showroom operations, including merchandising, inventory, purchasing, vendor coordination, and logistics.
- Willingness to work fully on-site in the Greater San Fernando Valley area.
