About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen within the People & Culture Division in Shenzhen, the Learning and Development Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all learning and development activities are aligned to the corporate direction. The Learning and Development Supervisor reports to Director of Learning & Development.
As Learning and Development Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Support company’s philosophy and company culture using Pillars of Legendary Quality Experiences daily to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement
- Ensure that the Fire Life Health Safety and Security company standards and HACCP Standards are maintained and carried out. They must be monitored regularly to assist in scoring 100% on the MOHG health and safety audit
- Ensure the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually tasks are in line with the departmental Legendary Quality Experiences
- Orientates and trains new colleagues in a way that teaches and embodies the group and the hotel’s Vision and Mission, to ensure that the hotel completely delights and satisfies the guest
- Update and follow up the Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen’s grooming and appearance standards to reflect an image of professionalism and care
- Monitor/spot check departmental trainings closely to ensure they are held according to the monthly plan
- To co-facilitate with the Director of Learning & Development on MOHG Core Programs
As Learning and Development Supervisor, we expect from you:
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant working experience in similar capacity
- Fluent in both written and spoken Mandarin and English
- Passionate, adaptable and flexible
- Excellent communication and organization skills
